Our Head Chef
Over the last decade, Head Chef Justin Snyder has developed his culinary expertise through travel and exploration throughout the US, Asia, Ukraine and Western Europe. His wide culinary education includes studying at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie in France, while his experience includes working as both a personal chef and in restaurants in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Hawaii. Internationally, Justin has spent time in some of the world’s top kitchens including Ta Vei in Hong Kong. Through his travels, Justin discovered his purpose – to create delicious, globally inspired food using unique ingredients that are sustainably sourced and responsibly served.
Justin’s relationships with area farmers and suppliers result in the procurement of fresh, seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients at a smaller environmental cost than what is associated with out-of-state or out-of-country sourcing. With his sights trained on developing dishes that are of the highest possible quality in both flavor and substance, Justin continually researches and seeks out new ingredients, suppliers and more efficient distribution chains to support his mission to heal the planet one tasty poke bowl at a time.
