5 smoothie recipes to cool your summer down!

Though there are several local restaurants serving the amazing smoothies. But in case you’re lazy as hell like me and don’t want to get out in the scorching hot sun then Sustainabowls master chef has shared 5 amazing smoothie recipes that you can easily prepare at home. 
Summers where gets all of us excited to get tans also needs us to stay all hydrated to get through it. Take your pen and paper and note down these exotic smoothies to not just stay hydrated but also to stay fresh and healthy. 

1-Triple berry blend

Being a berry fan I’ll start with my most favorite one. It’s a very simple one and requires nothing special but berries. 
Ingredients you require: 

  • 1 ½ cup of mixed berries (blackberries, strawberries, raspberries)
  • ! cup of milk 
  • Ice cubes
  • Sugar to taste

Blend the all above ingredients and viola triple berry blend is ready to cool down your burning soul. 


Honeydew is a special fruit and I absolutely love its taste. Things you will require to create a honeydew-almond smoothie. 

  • 2 cups of honeydew melon
  • 1 cup of almond milk 
  • Ice
  • Honey to sugar up the smoothie

Blend all the ingredients up to form a nice non-plump smoothie.

3-Spa Cucumber

Who doesn’t love a cucumber? I think there’s no such person on this mighty planet who dislikes cucumbers. They are refreshing as anything can be. In order to prepare the spa cucumber you require to have: 

  • 2 medium cucumbers ( peeled, seedless chopped cucumbers)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Half a cup of water 
  • Ice cubes
  • 3-4 tbsp. of honey or sugar

Blend them all ingredients nicely and your refreshing spa cucumber smoothie is all ready to be devoured. 

4-Kiwi-strawberry smoothie

Kiwi and strawberry form an amazing combination smoothie. Both enhance one another taste and provides you with a glassful of the divine. You can prepare it with simple ingredients mentioned below:

  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 2-3 peeled kiwis 
  • 2tbsp of sugar or honey
  • Ice cubes

5-Pomegranate and Cherry smoothie

Pomegranate seems to me like a fruit from heaven. And I saved the best recipe for you at the last. Pomegranate and cherry provide a very peculiar taste which is not common at all. And is amazing in itself. The best thing about it is that you can’t compare the taste with anything else. It has this great uniqueness within it. 
Ingredients you will require to make it:

  • 1 cup of frozen pocked cherries 
  • ¾ cup of fresh pomegranate juice
  • ½ cup of plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey (or sugar if honey is not available)
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Ice cubes

Blend all the ingredients together to form a kinky and tangy smoothie.
